Course Overview

The M.Sc. Nano Sciences & Technology program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is a postgraduate program designed to provide advanced knowledge and hands-on training in the principles, synthesis, characterization, and applications of nanoscience and nanotechnology.

This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from the 1st semester itself. The curriculum focuses on the advanced properties of nanomaterials, nanofabrication techniques, advanced characterization methods, and applications of nanotechnology in various fields, including medicine, electronics, energy, materials science, and environmental science. Students gain practical experience in synthesizing and manipulating nanomaterials, characterizing their properties using advanced techniques, and exploring their applications in cutting-edge research projects.

Graduates of this program emerge as ‘Advanced Nano Scientists and Technologists’, enabling them to pursue further higher studies & do research in Nano Sciences & Technology along with plenty of job opportunities globally. This program equips graduates to work in research institutions, nanotechnology companies, and various industries utilizing nanotechnology, and prepares them for leadership roles in this rapidly evolving field.

Course Details

Description: 2 Years Degree Program

No. of Credits: 80 minimum and as specified

Academic Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc. Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Materials Science/Nanotechnology or equivalent OR a B.Tech./B.E. degree in Nanotechnology/Materials Science/Chemical Engineering or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
