Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth (MRV), Hyderabad, offers admissions to a wide range of Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), Doctoral programs and Fellowships through its 7 Constituent Colleges and 7 Schools of Eminence. The admission process is designed to ensure transparency, merit-based selection, and alignment with statutory norms.
1. Admission Categories
A. Medical and Dental Programs
Admissions to UG-MBBS, PG-MS/MD, Super Specialty- DM and UG-BDS, PG- MDS programs are strictly governed by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) / Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) under the guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC) and Dental Council of India (DCI).
- Admission is through centralized counseling based on NEET-UG / NEET-PG, NEET-SS,
- No direct admissions are entertained for these programs at the university level.

B. Other Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs
Admissions for all other UG and PG programs across the Constituent Colleges of Engineering, Nursing and Pharmacy and Under School of Eminence:
- School of Medial Sciences and Technology
- School of Dental Sciences and Technology
- School of Nursing Sciences and Technology
- School of Pharmacy Sciences and Technology
- School of Allied and Public Health Sciences and Technology

- Other National-Level Entrance Exams (such as JEE, CUET, GATE, CAT, NEET, etc.) as applicable
- Merit-Based Direct Admissions (for eligible candidates under specific programs)
- PhD Programs are based on MRVCET, Interviews and Merit (GATE, GPAT, UGC-JRF, DBT-JRF, CSIR-JRF, UGC-NET and other National Qualified Exams).
- Fellowships are based on the Interviews and Merit.
2. Admission Process
Step 1: Application Form Submission
- Candidates must apply online through the official university admission portal: mrvv.edu.in/admissions
- Provide valid personal and academic details
- Pay the application fee as per program requirements
Step 2: Entrance Exam / Merit Evaluation
- Eligible candidates will be evaluated based on their MRVCET 2025 score or equivalent national-level exam
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email/SMS and university portal updates
Step 3: Counseling and Selection
- Program-specific counseling will be conducted for seat allotment
- Counseling can be online or offline based on the program and mode of application
Step 4: Provisional Admission Offer
- Selected candidates will receive a Provisional Admission Letter
- Candidates must confirm the offer by paying the admission fee within the stipulated date
Step 5: Document Verification & Final Enrollment
- Submit original documents for verification
- Final admission is granted upon successful verification and completion of fee payment
3. Required Documents for Admission
- Mark sheets and certificates of qualifying examinations (Class 10, 12, UG, PG as applicable)
- Entrance exam scorecard (MRVCET 2025 / JEE / NEET / CUET, etc.)
- Transfer Certificate (TC) and Conduct Certificate
- Migration Certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhaar Card / Identity Proof
- Passport-size photographs
- Caste/Category certificate (if applicable)
- EWS Certificate (if applicable)
- NRI’s- Affidavit, Embassy Certificate, OCI Letter, Passport & Visa Copy, Utility Bills etc.
