Course Overview
The B.Sc. Urology Technology program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is an undergraduate course designed to train students to assist urologists in diagnosing and treating disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. The curriculum covers the anatomy and physiology of the renal system including pathophysiology of urological conditions withcomprehensive training in operating and maintaining advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, such as endoscopic, laparoscopic, and laser systems. Students are trained in procedures like uroflowmetry, cystoscopy, extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL), and other minimally invasive techniques and support Urologists in the management of disorders such as kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostate enlargement, and male infertility. Students also gain expertise in patient preparation, post-procedure care, and infection control protocols.
Graduates of this program emerge as ‘Skilled Urology Technologists’, enabling them to pursue further higher studies & do research in Urology Technology along with plenty of job opportunities globally.

- The minimum eligibility for B.Sc. Urology Technology is a pass in 10+2 with at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC/PUC) or equivalent.
The B.Sc. Urology Technology curriculum combines foundational knowledge with practical skills in urological diagnostics, surgical assistance, and patient care.
