Course Overview
The B.Sc. CAD/CAM in Dentistry program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is designed to provide students with specialized knowledge in the field of computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) technology used in dentistry.
This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. Students will learn the use of advanced software and machinery to design, model, and manufacture dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants. The curriculum combines theoretical learning in dental materials, digital imaging, and dental technologies with practical training in CAD/CAM systems, enabling students to create high-precision dental restorations. The program also emphasizes digital workflow in dental practice and the integration of technology in patient care.
Graduates of this program are prepared to work in dental laboratories, clinics, or dental technology companies, contributing to the advancement of digital dentistry through their knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and their application in dental procedures.
