Course Overview
B.Des. Animation, VFX & Gaming program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is an undergraduate program offered in collaboration with EROS Group, designed to provide comprehensive design education and hands-on training in animation, visual effects, and game development. This program focuses on equipping students with theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from the 1st semester itself. The curriculum covers concept art, 2D and 3D animation, character design, VFX simulation, compositing, game engine programming, AI-assisted production, motion capture, and virtual production techniques. Students gain practical experience in industry-grade studios with access to EROS Group’s VFX and animation pipelines. Graduates of this program emerge as ‘Skilled Animators, VFX Artists, and Game Developers’, enabling them to pursue further higher studies & do research in Animation, Visual Effects, and Interactive Media along with plenty of job opportunities globally.

The minimum eligibility for B.Sc. Diabetic Sciences is a pass in 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC) or equivalent.

B.Des. Animation, VFX & Gaming students undergo hands-on training in 2D / 3D animation studios, VFX simulation labs, motion capture suites, game development pods, and EROS Group industry pipelines, gaining practical experience in industry-standard tools and production workflows.
- Animation & Modelling Proficiency: Mastery of Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, ZBrush, and Toon Boom Harmony for animation production.
- VFX Simulation & Compositing: Skills in Houdini for fluid, particle, and destruction effects, and Nuke for compositing.
- Game Development Capability: Hands-on experience with Unity and Unreal Engine 5 (Nanite, Lumen, MetaHuman).
- AI-Augmented Production: Competency with AI tools including Cascadeur, Move.ai, Wonder Studio, and Luma Genie.
- Virtual Production & Motion Capture: Practical exposure to mocap technology and LED-wall virtual production techniques.
