Message from the Pro Vice Chancellor
Dear Students, Faculty, and Well-wishers,
It is with great pride and a deep sense of purpose that I address you as Pro Vice Chancellor of Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad, Telangana. With over 34 years+ experience in medical education, curriculum reform, and institutional governance, I have had the privilege of contributing to academic leadership at various levels — from teaching and mentoring postgraduates as Professor and Head of Anatomy, to steering academic strategy as Associate Dean-Academics at a deemed university. This journey has given me a deep appreciation for what it takes to build institutions that nurture both knowledge and character. At Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), my responsibility is to provide institution-wide academic leadership across our medical, dental, nursing, pharmaceutical, and allied health sciences faculties, driving multidisciplinary integration in the true spirit of the National Education Policy 2020. We are committed to aligning our curricula with NEP 2020 and UGC frameworks, strengthening our accreditation standing through NAAC, NBA, NMC, and NIRF, and building an Internal Quality Assurance Cell that ensures excellence is never accidental, but designed. Our vision is clear: to create a university where medical, dental, nursing, and allied sciences work in genuine synergy, delivering outcome-based, technology-enabled education of global standard. We are equally invested in strengthening research and innovation, forging industry partnerships, and building international academic collaborations that give our students and faculty a truly global platform. None of this is possible without the dedication of our faculty, whose commitment to teaching and mentorship shapes every student who passes through our campuses, and the curiosity and hardwork of our students, who are the reason this institution exists.
