M.Sc. Reproductive & Development Biology

This Course Structure is Curated as per the NEP-2020 Guidelines

Course Overview

The M.Sc. Reproductive & Development Biology program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is designed to provide advanced knowledge and practical training in the molecular and cellular processes involved in reproduction and development. This postgraduate program focuses on understanding how genetics, environment, and cellular processes contribute to human reproduction, development, and disease.

This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including reproductive physiology, developmental biology, embryonic development, stem cell biology, reproductive technologies, and the molecular mechanisms underlying development and differentiation. Students gain hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, such as cell culture, gene editing, and developmental assays, essential for exploring the foundations of reproductive health and developmental disorders.

Graduates of this program emerge as ‘Skilled Developmental Biologists and Reproductive Health Researchers’, enabling them to pursue further higher studies & do research in Developmental Biology and Reproductive Health, along with plenty of job opportunities globally in research institutions, fertility clinics, biotechnology companies, and healthcare organizations.
