Course Overview

The M.Sc. Liver & Biliary Diseases program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is designed to provide advanced education and training in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of liver and biliary tract disorders. This postgraduate program focuses on understanding the complexities of liver function, diseases such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver transplantation, and biliary disorders.

This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. The curriculum covers topics including hepatology, liver transplantation, bile duct diseases, hepatocellular carcinoma, diagnostic imaging techniques, and advanced therapeutics. Students gain hands-on experience in clinical settings, learning to apply diagnostic tools, manage treatment protocols, and contribute to patient care.

Description: 2 Years Degree Program

No. of Credits: 80 minimum and as specified

The minimum eligibility is a B.Sc. degree in Medical Sciences, Nursing, Gastroenterology Technology or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

The M.Sc. Liver & Biliary Diseases curriculum provides advanced training in hepatology, liver pathology, diagnostic imaging, liver transplant care, and biliary disease management. This program prepares students for roles in hospitals, gastroenterology clinics, transplant centers, and research institutions.
