B.Sc. Geriatric Sciences program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is an undergraduate program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the complex medical, social, and psychological needs of the aging population.

This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. The curriculum focuses on geriatric physiology, chronic disease management, palliative care, and the use of assistive technologies. Students receive hands-on training in creating personalized care plans, managing age-related disorders, and ensuring holistic care for elderly patients in clinical and community settings.

Graduates of this program emerge as ‘Skilled Geriatric Care Technologists’, enabling them to pursue further higher studies & do research in Geriatric Care Technology, along with plenty of job opportunities globally in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and home healthcare services.

The minimum eligibility for B.Sc. Geriatric Care Medicineis a pass in 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC) or equivalent.
