Course Overview
The B.Sc. Public Health Economics program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is an undergraduate course designed to equip students with specialized knowledge and skills at the intersection of public health and economics. This program prepares students to analyze the economic dimensions of healthcare systems, policy-making, and resource allocation for improved public health outcomes.
This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. The curriculum focuses on economic theories, public health principles, health policy evaluation, and cost-effectiveness analysis. Students gain practical exposure to evaluating healthcare systems, conducting economic evaluations, and assessing the financial impact of public health interventions.
Graduates will emerge as ‘Skilled professionals in Public Health Economics’, enabling them to pursue further higher studies & do research in Public Health Economics along with plenty of job opportunities globally.

The minimum eligibility is a pass in 10+2 with at least 50% marks in any stream (preferably with Economics, Mathematics, or Biology) from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC) or equivalent.
