Course Overview
M.Sc. Bariatric Surgery Technology program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is a postgraduate course designed to provide advanced knowledge and technical expertise in assisting bariatric and metabolic surgeries, focusing on obesity management and weight-loss procedures.

No. of Credits: 80 minimum and as specified
- The minimum eligibility is a B.Sc. degree in Surgical Technology, Allied Health Sciences, Nursing or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
The M.Sc. Bariatric Surgery Technology curriculum provides advanced training in bariatric surgical procedures, patient care management, post-operative care, and surgical safety. This program prepares students for roles in operating rooms, bariatric clinics, hospitals, and specialized weight loss surgery centers.
