B.Sc. Diabetic Care Technology program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is an undergraduate course designed to train students to assist healthcare teams in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of diabetes and its complications, utilizing advanced medical technologies and therapeutic approaches.

This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. This program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the pathophysiology of diabetes, patient education, glucose monitoring systems, and insulin therapy. The curriculum focuses on hands-on training in operating diagnostic equipment, managing diabetes clinics, and providing lifestyle counseling to patients to improve their quality of life.

 The minimum eligibility for B.Sc. Diabetic Care Technology is a pass in 10+2 with at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC/PUC) or equivalent.
