Course Overview

M.Sc. Dialysis Technology program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is a postgraduate course designed to train students to assist nephrologists in managing dialysis procedures for patients with chronic kidney disease and acute renal failure.

This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. This program provides specialized knowledge and advanced skills in hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, water quality management, and the latest advancements in dialysis technology. The curriculum focuses on operating and maintaining dialysis equipment, patient monitoring, and managing emergencies during dialysis procedures. Students gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge equipment, ensuring they are well-prepared to support nephrologists in providing optimal care to patients.

Description: 2 Years Degree Program

No. of Credits: 80 minimum and as specified

  • The minimum eligibility is a B.Sc. degree in Dialysis Technology, Renal Dialysis Technology or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

The M.Sc. Dialysis Technology curriculum focuses on advanced techniques in dialysis, renal function monitoring, patient management, and critical care for renal patients, preparing students for specialized roles in hospitals and dialysis centers.
