Malla Reddy Viswavidyapeeth (MRV) is making a significant technological leap by integrating IoT (Internet of Things) and blockchain technology into its digital examination process. This initiative positions MRV as a forward-thinking institution that prioritizes security, transparency, and efficiency in academic evaluations.

By leveraging IoT, MRV ensures real-time monitoring of examinations, reducing the chances of malpractice and unauthorized activities. IoT-enabled surveillance and smart devices enhance the integrity of the examination environment. Meanwhile, blockchain technology secures data storage, ensuring that examination records remain tamper-proof and verifiable. This decentralized approach strengthens the credibility of results while reducing administrative burdens through automation.

As the first university in Telangana to adopt such an advanced system, MRV is setting a precedent for other educational institutions to follow. This technological integration not only modernizes the assessment process but also aligns with the growing global trend of digital transformation in education. It reflects MRV’s commitment to innovation and its mission to provide a secure, efficient, and futuristic learning ecosystem for students.

Using IoT and Blockchains for MRV Digital Examinations We are proud to pioneer and integrate IoT (Internet of Things) in our MRV university examinations for the first time in Telangana. It enhances security, transparency, and efficiency by preventing malpractice, ensuring secure data storage, and automating administrative processes.

  1. Secure Student Authentication & Attendance
IoT: We use biometric devices (fingerprint scanners, facial recognition, and iris scanner) to
verify student identity in classes and exam halls.
  2. Tamper-Proof Question Paper Distribution
IoT: We use the iris scan, smart locks, and secure digital keys to restrict access to question papers until exam time on our unique digipad examination system executed with Littlemore Innovations and COEMPT team.
  3. Transparent Answer Script Management
IoT: We use digital pads and smart digital pens to track and timestamp when an answer script is written.
  4. Remote Exam Monitoring
IoT: AI-powered cameras and motion detectors can monitor students for any suspicious activity during exams.
  5. Automated Grading & Result Declaration
IoT: AI-driven grading tools can evaluate multiple-choice and subjective answers.
  6. Secure Degree & Certificate Issuance
    ● We are issuing certificates with more than 29 security features including High-resolution borders, Void Pentagraph, Anti Scanning, Guilloche Design, Microline, Invisible inks, Conductive Inks, Thermo Chromic inks, Fluorescence inks, Water markings, Raster patterns, Penetrating numbering, Unique code, QR code and bar-code
Blockchain: Once a student completes a course, certificates are stored on a blockchain, making them tamper-proof and instantly verifiable by employers.

Benefits of IoT in Exams:
● Prevents exam paper leaks & malpractices
● Ensures transparent and tamper-proof records
● Reduces administrative workload
● Enables real-time student authentication & monitoring
● Provides instant, verifiable digital certificates
