Course Overview
The B.Sc. Endoscopy Technology program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is an undergraduate course designed to train students to assist physicians and surgeons in performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures using advanced endoscopic equipment and techniques.
This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. Students gain a comprehensive foundation in endoscopic procedures, starting from the basics of gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urological systems to advanced techniques in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and cystoscopy. Students also gain expertise in pre-procedure preparation, patient monitoring, and post-procedure care. The curriculum emphasizes the anatomy and physiology of related organ systems, infection control protocols, and the operation and maintenance of endoscopic equipment. Through hands-on training in hospitals and diagnostic centers, students develop the practical skills necessary to handle instruments, assist physicians, and ensure patient safety during procedures.

The minimum eligibility for B.Sc. Endoscopy Technology is a pass in 10+2 with at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC/PUC) or equivalent.
