Course Overview
The B.Sc. Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Public Health program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is an undergraduate course designed to prepare students to address the growing burden of non-communicable diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, and chronic respiratory diseases. The program integrates public health principles with an in-depth understanding of NCD prevention, management, and policy.
This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. The curriculum emphasizes epidemiology, risk factor analysis, community-based interventions, and policy formulation. Through practical training, internships, and research projects, students gain expertise in developing effective public health strategies to combat NCDs and promote healthier communities. Enabling them to pursue further higher studies & do research in Non Communicable Diseases – Public Health along with plenty of job opportunities globally.

The minimum eligibility is a pass in 10+2 with at least 50% marks in any stream (preferably with Biology, Chemistry, or Social Sciences) from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC/PUC) or equivalent.
