Course Overview
The B.Sc. Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Public Health program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is an undergraduate course designed to prepare students to address the growing burden of non-communicable diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, and chronic respiratory diseases. The program integrates public health principles with an in-depth understanding of NCD prevention, management, and policy.
This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. The curriculum emphasizes epidemiology, risk factor analysis, community-based interventions, and policy formulation. No. of Credits: 160 minimum and as specified
The minimum eligibility is a pass in 10+2 with at least 50% marks in any stream (preferably with Biology, Chemistry, or Social Sciences) from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC/PUC) or equivalent.
