Course Overview

M.Sc. Anaesthesia & OT Technology program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is a postgraduate course designed to train students to assist anesthesiologists and surgeons in advanced anesthesia administration, operation theatre management, and patient care during and after surgical procedures.

This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. This program covers anesthesia pharmacology, advanced monitoring techniques, critical care management, and the latest surgical technologies. The curriculum ensures that students gain hands-on experience in managing complex surgical cases, handling advanced OT equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process.

Graduates of this program emerge as ‘skilled Senior Anaesthesia Technologists or OT Managers’,  enabling them to pursue further higher studies and research in Anaesthesia and OT Management, along with plenty of job opportunities globally in hospitals, surgical centers, and emergency care units.

Description: 2 Years Degree Program

No. of Credits: 80 minimum and as specified

• The minimum eligibility is a B.Sc. degree in Anaesthesia Technology, OT Technology or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university

The M.Sc. Anaesthesia & OT Technology curriculum covers advanced knowledge in anaesthesia procedures, patient monitoring, OT management, and perioperative care, preparing students for specialized roles in operating rooms, critical care, and surgical departments.
