Course Overview

Specialize in the science of human reproduction with the M.Sc. Reproductive Sciences & Embryology program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad. This postgraduate program is designed to provide advanced knowledge and practical training in the techniques and technologies involved in assisted reproduction, embryology, and reproductive medicine.

This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics including gamete biology, in-vitro fertilization (IVF), embryo culture, cryopreservation, genetics of reproduction, and reproductive endocrinology. Students will gain hands-on experience in IVF labs, mastering procedures such as oocyte retrieval, sperm processing, embryo culture, and embryo transfer, along with understanding the ethical and regulatory aspects of assisted reproductive technologies (ART).

Graduates of this program emerge as ‘Skilled Clinical Embryologists, IVF Specialists, and Research Scientists’, enabling them to pursue further higher studies & do research in reproductive medicine and assisted reproductive technologies, along with plenty of job opportunities globally.

Course Details

Description: 2 Years Degree Program

No. of Credits: 80 minimum and as specified

The minimum qualification is a B.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Clinical Embryology or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

The M.Sc. Reproductive Sciences & Embryology curriculum spans 4 semesters, focusing on reproductive biology, assisted reproductive technologies (ART), clinical embryology, and genetic counseling.
