Course Overview

M.Sc. Urology Technology program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is a postgraduate course designed to provide advanced training in assisting urologists with the diagnosis, treatment, and management of urological disorders, using cutting-edge technologies and techniques.

This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. This program covers urodynamic studies, endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), and the operation and maintenance of urological diagnostic equipment. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on training, where students gain expertise in assisting with minimally invasive urological procedures and ensuring the proper functioning of advanced urological equipment.

Graduates of this program emerge as ‘Skilled Urology Technologists’, enabling them to pursue further higher studies & do research in Urology Technology along with plenty of job opportunities globally.

No. of Credits: 80 minimum and as specified

The minimum eligibility is a B.Sc. degree in Urology Technology, Renal Dialysis Technology or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
