Course Overview

M.Sc. IVF Technology program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is a postgraduate program designed to provide advanced training in the science and techniques of in-vitro fertilization (IVF), focusing on fertility management and reproductive health.

This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. The curriculum covers gamete handling, embryo culture, cryopreservation, and advanced laboratory techniques in assisted reproduction. Students gain hands-on experience in IVF laboratories, mastering procedures such as egg retrieval, sperm preparation, embryo transfer, and quality control of reproductive samples.

Graduates of this program emerge as ‘skilled IVF Technologists’, enabling them to pursue further higher studies & do research in IVF and reproductive medicine, along with plenty of job opportunities globally.

Description: 2 Years Degree Program

No. of Credits: 80 minimum and as specified

  • The minimum eligibility is a B.Sc. degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Sciencesor equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

The M.Sc. IVF Technology curriculum provides advanced training in embryology, assisted reproductive technology (ART), IVF procedures, gamete handling, cryopreservation, and patient counseling. This program prepares students for roles in fertility clinics, reproductive health centers, IVF labs, and research institutions.
