Course Overview
The M.Sc. Clinical Virology program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is designed to provide specialized knowledge and hands-on training in the study of viruses and their impact on human health. This postgraduate program focuses on understanding viral pathogenesis, diagnostics, and the latest therapeutic approaches to managing viral infections.
This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics including molecular virology, viral immunology, diagnostic techniques, and the role of virology in public health. Students gain hands-on experience in laboratory techniques for virus detection, virus culture, molecular diagnostics, and understanding viral epidemiology.

A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
The M.Sc. Clinical Virology program spans 4 semesters, combining theoretical coursework with hands-on laboratory training and research.
