Course Overview

The M.Sc. Immersive Technology in Healthcare program at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, is a postgraduate course designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge and practical expertise in using immersive technologies, such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR), in healthcare settings. This program focuses on the integration of immersive technologies to enhance patient care, medical training, surgical procedures, and rehabilitation.

This program focuses on equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills from 1st semester itself. The curriculum covers a range of topics, including the fundamentals of immersive technologies, their application in medical training, patient education, surgical simulation, therapy and rehabilitation, and the development of healthcare applications using VR/AR/MR. Students will also gain expertise in creating and evaluating immersive experiences for improving healthcare delivery, diagnosis, and treatment outcomes.

Description: 2 Years Degree Program

No. of Credits: 80 minimum and as specified

Academic Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc. Pharmacy, B.Sc. Life Sciences, BDS, MBBS, or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
